What can I expect to find in your magazine?

Quality photo-illustrated male-male erotica by and for women. Each issue will have four to six chapters, which will be either full short stories or chapters of ongoing novel-length adventures. We believe that quality erotica means not sacrificing character, and quality characters have hotter sex. All of our stories will be illustrated with photographs, to help bring the stories to life.

Do you really think there's a market for that?

Yes. Yes we do.

If this is such a good idea, why has nobody done this before?

Short answer? We blame the patriarchy.

When will your magazine come out?

As of this writing, we're finalizing the last couple photographs and arranging the advertisements for the first issue, and we have four out of the five stories in it available for sale.

Will your magazine be available online? Will your magazine be available in hard copy?

Yes and yes! We will offer pdf downloads and hard copy. We hope to make Syzygy available through local retailers and independent woman-friendly sex shops.

What's the difference between buying the individual stories and buying the whole issue?

Cost, mainly. Buying all the stories for an issue will cost more than just buying the issue itself, but they will both have the same formatting and photos. Also, issues will be available in hard copy, but individual stories will not.

What does "syzygy" mean, exactly?

The term originally comes from astronomy, where it refers to the moment when different orbiting bodies come into alignment with each other. Given that our stories are about men finding emotional connections despite the distances and barriers between them, we thought it was apropos. Also, we like the word. The adjective form is syzygial, if you were curious.

Can I submit my fiction to Syzygy?

Can I model for Syzygy?

Maybe! Right now we only shoot in the Portland, OR area, but if you're in our vicinity, we'd love to have a look at you. Please send a clear face shot and a clear body shot to modeling@syzygymag.com. We're looking for sexy men of all types and backgrounds, so we'd love to hear from you.

Can I advertise with Syzygy?
